2006-2007 General Section Meeting Calendar

General Section Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the La Quinta on Rte. 46 in Fairfield unless other plans are made. Meetings begin at 6:00 PM with dinner at 6:30 PM and the program at 7:30 PM.

Ira Kaplan

Ira Kaplan is an information technology project manager who leads teams that make great business software. At Dun & Bradstreet he redesigned their flagship customer information management system, Customer Integration Manager, and increased its sales by 67% in one year. At Schering-Plough he designed the Drug Information System, improving written response times to doctors’ questions by 56%.

Ira also has expertise in technology product evaluation for businesses’ needs and making technology easy to understand. As one of his first managers remarked, “He can explain anything to anybody.” Ira has presented at national conferences and published articles on business and technology issues.
