General Section Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the La Quinta on Rte. 46 in Fairfield unless other plans are made. Meetings begin at 6:00 PM with dinner at 6:30 PM and the program at 7:30 PM.

Jeff Werrmann has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He has held positions of increasing responsibility in drug discovery, drug metabolism, GMP compliance, computer validation quality assurance, IS compliance, and IT functions at Merck Research Laboratories and Celgene Corporation. Currently, Jeff is the Sr. Director of Global IT Quality & Compliance at Celgene where he is responsible for directing the Systems Validation, IT Quality Operations, and Global IT Security Departments. Jeff has developed and implemented quality audit programs at both Merck and Celgene.

Jeff has also been an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Temple University, School of Pharmacy, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Graduate Program since January of 2003. He teaches Quality Audit and Computer Validation as part of the Masters Degree program curriculum. Jeff is currently a Senior Member of ASQ, a member of ISPE, and an active participant in the GAMP Forum. Jeff has a BA in Biochemistry from Cook College, Rutgers University (Graduated with Highest Honors) and an MS degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers Graduate School. He has over 20 publications, abstracts, and patents.
