General Section Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the La Quinta on Rte. 46 in Fairfield unless other plans are made. Meetings begin at 6:00 PM with dinner at 6:30 PM and the program at 7:30 PM.

There have been many articles in the press about the contamination of ingredients and products supplied to the United States, both food and pharmaceutical. The Food & Drug Administration is tasked with responsibility to protect both our food and pharmaceutical supplies. This presentation will focus on the regulation of drug ingredients and the efforts by FDA and industry to ensure their safety.
