Ideas for Action Gathering: The meetings were held on September 23-25. The focus was on issues and support for the sections. ASQ is looking to grow to 1 million stakeholders from the current 250,000 stakeholders. We discussed problems facing sections including member participation, making the case for quality and future growth. Also, attendance at conferences is lagging and the suggestions were to hold smaller local conferences and use virtual conferences.

It was noted all section advertising should be included in these mass emails including monthly meeting info. seminars and etc. Send all advertising requests to Carl P.
