Nothing to report. No new news from ASQ National.
Treasurer Report  

Sue Serradilla-Smarth

 Report submitted for Executive committee review. Report for last month approved. Registrations appear to be down this year for SQC. Additional Registrations are pending Picatinny approval. Susan suggests raising the fee for dinner next year. We will barely breakeven this year. 3 CD's have been renewed for 9 month term.
Education   C. Perini

Report given by Ed May. Enrollment in upcoming classes appears to be down. It is possible we will have 4 classes starting on April 18th. We will have a table at the SQC. Several "larger contracts" in the proposal stage for Praxair, Picatinny, Stryker and Hitronics.

Scholarship   Ed May Six people have expressed interest in applying but no applications yet received. Everyone is encouraged to spread the word about the scholarship. Details at www.asqnorthjersey.org. Deadline is April 29, 2009. Team includes Ed May, Russ Nichols, Courtney Chronly. Award to be given at May General Section meeting.
Member Survey   Stephen Becker Thanks to Lucy for doing the survey at the last meeting. 28 Surveys received. Analysis forthcoming.

Spring Conference   Lucy Kahn Breakeven point is 150 attendees. The committee has requested that all board members make an effort to promote the SQC via word of mouth within their personal networks. Prospects can be referred to the web site asqnorthjersey.org for details. Bridge Telecom will have a booth.
NEQC   S. Liebesman

At the RAMS Conference last week I met Fred Schenkelberg. Fred is the incoming chair of the Reliability Division. He is speaking at the Spring Quality Conference. He and I would like to form a joint interest group for members of the Reliability and Electronics & Communications Divisions in North Jersey.

The positions listed in last months minutes fell through. They are not available.

The ASQ National website is being modified.
