General Section Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the La Quinta on Rte. 46 in Fairfield unless other plans are made. Meetings begin at 6:00 PM with dinner at 6:30 PM and the program at 7:30 PM.

Registration, Accreditation and Certification - What's the Difference and Why Should I Care?

The scope and intent of the many different International Quality System Standards address different industries, customers, and needs. The most widely applied quality system standard is ISO-9001:2000, but it is far from universal and is simply the wrong choice for some needs. This discussion will use a comparison of different quality system standards to answer the question raised by the title.
