The Larry Turbett Scholarship

The “Larry Turbett Memorial Scholarship” has been awarded by ASQ Section 304 North Jersey since at least 1994. It is named after late Larry Turbett, who belonged to ASQ Section 304, contributed strongly to the Section, and was considered a local guru in the field of quality in Northern New Jersey and beyond. This scholarship was created to remember Larry’s message that dedication to quality in our public and private lives is the key to individual and societal success. ASQ Section 304 North Jersey has funded this Scholarship for decades from its existing long term interest bearing certificates of deposit.

The scholarship is administered by the ASQ Section 304 North Jersey Scholarship Committee. The criteria for selecting a scholarship recipient are based on the ASQ Turbett Scholarship Rules.
